When I first saw this bag your website, I was a bit suspicious about its authenticity. It was supposed to be made with natural flowers and foliage, and it was beyond my imagination that a bag made by pasting natural dried flowers and leaves could be as sturdy as any handbag. It seemed to be faux flowers or a good print at best. So I wasn’t ready for such a pleasant surprise when I got my hands on it. It was far more beautiful than the photograph in your website, and tough as well! I cannot tell you how many compliments I have got for it.
Last week my grandchildren came visiting, and they were absolutely fascinated by this woven bag... "Are these really candy wrappers, Grandma?" they asked in unison and started tugging at the strands. Naturally, I took the opportunity to tell them a little story about how plastic bags are destroying our habitat. The children were very receptive. Felt nice to pass on the good word. After all, they will inherit the earth, and it’s time they started looked after their estate!
