This striking pink shopping bag from Indonesian producer Naveh Milo is bound to prove a conversation piece, and is a delightfully different accessory which manages to look great whilst making a positive impact on the lives of Indonesian women.

Re-thinking the future of shopping bags.

Colour: Pink

Made from recycled plastic, combined with dried leaves and petals including Bougainvillea leaf, Duku tree leaf, Daisy, Sunflower and Pandan leaf, this really is a beautiful and charming bag.

Naveh Milo shopping bags are made on the outskirts of Medan, Indonesia, by a women's cooperative.

By employing local women, and those who have travelled inland from Tsunami affected regions, Naveh Milo is making a positive impact on both the local, and wider community.

Accessorising

Women just love accessories. Whether its shoes, jewellery or handbags, we just can’t get enough of them. In fact, we may be the most orderly people most of the time, but when it comes to accessories, we are a breed or hoarders. A bag is an essential addition to any outfit. Men always find it hilarious, if a little strange, women always need a bag, and in this bag we seem to have all kinds of things necessary for the most unlikely of situations; our bags are a bit like the bag or all bags, ...

Summer must have’s

It’s just great when there is one key item of the season. Not only is it cheaper than have several pieces to choose from, but it is far more straightforward and you can be almost 100% sure you’ll be on trend whenever you step foot out of the house. Eco Shopping Bags

Plastic Shopping Bags - Not Cheap!

Plastic shopping bags are the quintessential symbol of our wasteful ‘disposable’ culture. They are cheap, convenient in the short-term. Once discarded they pollute the world for a long, long time.

The Environment: How we can help save it?

The Environment and Us?

How does an individual help in winning the war against pollution? Not everybody can be a storm-trooper of the Greenpeace variety. Given a choice, we would still wage our own battles quietly and resolutely; but before that we have to have a way to contribute in this mother of all wars.

Fairtrade Mark

What Are Fairtrade Goods?

The FAIRTRADE mark is a consumer label which appears on products as an independent guarantee that disadvantaged producers in the developing world are getting a better deal.
